With ‘waking up in a stranger’s room’ as my starting point, I put some of the waveforms through some Guitar Rig effects, chosen at random from the ‘ambient’ style list. This produced a bloody awful noise, so I thinned the sounds out, slowed the piece down and did some backward sounds and fades.

I think this is a really interesting piece; hard to believe it started from the sounds made from two acoustic guitars.
