At a shindig held in the local pub to celebrate the lighthouse keeper’s retirement, a couple of rascally local lads think it very funny to spike the poor fellow’s drink with a hallucinogenic drug. The lighthouse keeper, enjoying the feeling, which he erroneously attributes to a pint or two of a popular, barely-legal locally-brewed ale: ‘Old McKnacker’s Residual Secretion’, cycles home in the fog, expecting to feel sad, but instead experiencing a strange euphoria and sensory distortions of a pleasant kind.

Here we have five versions of the original tune, backwards, in and out of sync, with odd stereo things swimming around. A splendid title for an unusual piece. Have you ever cycled home in the fog in an altered state?
