This ambient tune began life when I found some plastic, industrial looping synth sounds, added a high fluttering bird sound, a stuttering melody, some swirly sounds, and got the sounds to drop and appear and fade in and out along the way.

I tried to get a sense of a journey, of travelling. I think there is something odd about the rhythm which uses no standard drum sounds, but is still strong and insistent, and I like the bits where combined synth sounds play the melody.

This piece was treated to an overdose of manic panning as sounds glide and jump about across the stereo image throughout the tune. If you listen to this one on earphones, you might well fall over...
