A big production track with lots and lots of sounds and effects and vocals and drums. This one was a stinker to do. I ended up using around 40 tracks for all the little sounds and multi-layered vocals. A silly song; a whimsical daydream.
I spent quite a while on this lyric, looking for old-fashioned expressions to use. My favourite one is ‘dance the hempen jig’, which means to be hung by the neck with a piece of rope made from hemp. Lovely.
I like this one for its beat, repetitive melodies and musical storm sounds - sounds which prompted the whole song in the first place.
