I cajoled these guitars into playing this waving, swaying rhythm and I thought to myself: ‘that sounds rather plinky.’ A challenge I set myself here was to see if it was to come up melody using only two notes over the chords – I think it works surprisingly well.

The chap in this song has split up with his partner but they remain friends. He is uncertain about his feelings. When she starts dating, he isn’t happy. Oops.
