Some simple chords, percussion made by slapping my papered thighs, and here is the tale of a young fellow who can’t get over his girlfriend dumping him over two years before. There’s something about sitting at the back of the bus that brings him comfort and yearning.

Apart from the chorus, the lyric for this one was improvised with me trying to express the chap's state of mind. The first take was meant to be an experiment, a guideline, but when I listened back to it I really liked the way it flowed, thinking/singing out loud, so I kept it, imperfect thought it may be.

This laddie is stuck. I feel for him but I think he is a twit and should move on.
