I have already used this small, plucking finger-picking riff in ‘if you want to know the time’. I was giving it a listen and I thought it might well suit a different treatment. Here’s the result.

We have the same riff played over and over again, cycled. During the first one and a half minutes, all nine guitar sounds - three acoustics and six acoustics put through my Guitar Rig guitar effects - are introduced in turn, fading in and out here and there.

I like the way the textures change in a fairly subtle way as the guitars fade in and out, moving around the tune.

You could waltz to this one if you like. I understand Tesco’s really value waltzing customers...
