I had an odd tune spinning around in my head and when I worked it out on the ukulele, it turned out to be thirteen beats long. Blimey.

So here we have two strummed guitars, one high and one low ukulele playing the tune (one of them goes backwards for a bit), much movement around the stereo image, a few bum notes, and exactly the kind of melody that would float a thirteen legged man’s boat. A tune where every one of his legs has its very own beat. Who could ask for more?

I quite like this one’s quirky homemade feel. I think it’s rather sad that one of the ukuleles ends up all alone, abandoned in a vast cavern, as the song fades away. Ho-hum
