Good title. I had a riff, a tune and the lyric ‘where is she going, what is she doing? What is that thing that is on her head’, and this song developed from that.

I wanted to get a big, fat, filthy, driving, punky sore-throat song, underpinned by a slightly frantic funky beat, featuring outrageous hi-hats, backwards cymbals and a kind of hybrid headbanging beat with a lovely crunchy bass sound. And I believe I did.

‘Why pick on Margaret Thatcher’, I hear you cry as though with one voice. She, who never did no harm to no-one ever, not ever, ever, ever. Right?

Well... because she is one of the few famous people I have heard of who probably didn’t go into sex shops, and the absurd idea that she might have made me laugh. Anyway, turns out it’s not Margaret anyway; it’s my friend’s Aunty Dot, so just put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I like the energy and the story this song has. Hope it makes you smile....
