From political meanderings to mice on the moon. Just like that.

The first line, tune and words, appeared as one, unbidden, pregnant with promise. I allowed the thought to unfold, found some plinky chords and went to a mysterious noisy place. A skew-whiff nursery rhyme - I like its intimacy and its shifting chords.

By the way, I have a friend who listens to the interweb a lot. He said the moon is definitely made out of cheese and the government knows all about it, but won’t tell. Which is no surprise.
