This started life when I was playing a lesser-known Beatles song on my ukulele and started improvising a melody over the chords. Which song? Consider that a test question...

I was going to keep this as a purely ukulele/vocal song, but settled for this country style. The drumming, slide guitar and fiddle are perfect, and my favourite bit is at the beginning of the chorus when the slide guitar comes in behind the vocal. Blooming lovely.

Simple lyrical idea here: someone is day dreaming about the cowboy life, with themselves playing the role of all-round good fellow and Saviour of the West. Dreaming of blue skies and good clean air.
