I gently strum-twanged some organic chords, added some synth and the tune, and the feeling of someone yearning for a place of their own appeared. The idea that this chap isn’t doing too well emerged and reminded me of a friend who got sectioned after trying to microwave his cat, to stop it mewing.

So the stage was set for this character to reveal his view of the world. This is a subject/area I feel drawn to, having had a spot of mental upset myself.
